The community of Bayview is proudly served by the Palliser-Bayview-Pumphill Community Association (PBPCA), which promotes active living and is committed to preserving their natural environment. The Community Centre, adorned with a stunning mural, features a versatile space with a hall, kitchen, and boardroom available for rental. Outside, residents can enjoy an outdoor skating rink and sports and playfields. PBPCA facilitates various events throughout the year. PBPCA also has a co-operative preschool which has been operating since 1975 and is an integral part of their services.

Bayview Community Demographics

As of the 2021 Census by the City of Calgary, Bayview’s population in private households is 670, with 54% falling in the 15 to 64 years age group. Enjoying one of the highest median total household incomes in Calgary at $296,000, Bayview is primarily comprised of owner households, with 98% owning their homes. The majority of residences in Bayview are single-detached houses (86%).

Canadian pride runs deep in Bayview, with 50% of the population in private households being third generation or more. Ideal for retirement, the community has a significant portion of the population in the 65 to 84 years age group (23%), and 4% are 85 years and over.

Education is highly valued in Bayview, with an impressive 82% of the population aged 15 and over holding a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree.
